My experience hiring a housekeeper for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City: 10 questions to understand Ms. SAN before finalizing the deal.
Many misunderstandings between homeowners and domestic helpers aren't because either is bad, but because... From the beginning… it wasn't stated clearly.
1. Before asking, get to know Ms. SAN a little.
With SANBefore Ms. SAN arrives at the house, customer service will send the following to the family:
- Basic information: name, year of birth, region
- Experience: Where have you previously worked as a housekeeper/elderly caregiver/childcare provider?
- Special notes: strong cooking skills, meticulous, extremely clean, quiet/lively…

2. 10 questions to ask when hiring Ms. SAN for the first time.
- Where have you worked as a housekeeper before?
- Do you usually work by the hour or stay overnight?
- What tasks do you do best (cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc.)? What tasks do you refuse to do?
- Would you mind having elderly people or young children at home?
- If needed, could you help look after the elderly person/baby while I'm away?
- Would you agree to have cameras installed in the common areas of the house?
- What salary/income are you hoping for, hourly or monthly?
- If you have something urgent to attend to, how much notice can you give me?
- Do you have any allergies to cleaning chemicals, dog/cat hair, etc.?

- Ms. SAN saw her family. Respect & Clarity, easier to bond with.
